How accurate is the AI food recognition?
The AI (Gemini 2.5 Flash) provides estimates based on visual analysis. Accuracy depends on photo quality and food complexity. Always review and edit the AI suggestions before saving — you can adjust calories, macros, and serving sizes.
Where is my data stored?
All data (meals, weights, goals) is stored in your browser's IndexedDB. Nothing is sent to our servers except the food photos you submit for AI analysis. Your meal history and personal data never leave your device.
Does it work offline?
The core app (viewing history, adding meals manually, tracking water, logging weight) works offline. AI food recognition requires internet because the analysis runs on Google's servers.
Can I delete meals?
Yes. Tap any meal on the Today screen to delete it. You can also view history by date and delete individual meals.
How do I set my calorie goal?
Go to Settings (gear icon on the Today screen) and enter your daily calorie target. The default is 2000 kcal, but you should set it based on your TDEE and weight goals. The BMI & Calorie Calculator tool can help you find your target.
