The calculation uses official PLN tariff rates as of May 2026. Actual kWh received may differ slightly due to rounding by PLN systems, regional PPJ variations, or tariff adjustments. Use this as an estimate for planning purposes.
What is PPJ?
PPJ (Pajak Penerangan Jalan) is a local tax on electricity usage collected by your city/regency government. The rate varies by region — most areas charge 3%, but some charge up to 10%. Check your electricity bill or contact your local government for the exact rate.
What is the admin fee?
The admin fee is charged by the payment channel (bank, minimarket, app) when you purchase a token. It ranges from Rp 1,600 to Rp 3,500 depending on where you buy. This fee is deducted from your purchase amount before calculating kWh.
Which golongan should I choose?
Check your electricity meter or PLN bill for your daya (VA) rating. Common residential: 450VA and 900VA are subsidized, 1300VA and 2200VA are the most common non-subsidized, 3500VA+ is for larger homes.
