An interactive SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) builder that walks you through every section a procedure needs: title, department, document ID, version, effective date, purpose, scope, numbered procedure steps, responsibilities, and references. Type your content in the editor, hit Generate, and see a clean formatted preview. Add or remove procedure steps as you go. Export the finished SOP as Markdown (.md) for documentation, JSON for programmatic use, or PDF via the browser print dialog. Drafts auto-save to localStorage so you can pick up where you left off. What is an SOP?
A Standard Operating Procedure is a step-by-step document that explains how to perform a routine task in your organization. It reduces mistakes, speeds up training, and makes work consistent across teams.
How is this different from a PRD?
PRDs (Product Requirements Documents) describe what to build and why. SOPs describe how to perform an existing process repeatedly. Use SOPs for operations, support, HR, and any recurring internal workflow.
How do I export to PDF?
On the Preview tab, tap Export PDF. The browser print dialog opens with your formatted SOP — choose "Save as PDF" as the destination. The output is print-optimized with no extra chrome.
Can I add more procedure steps later?
Yes. The "Add Step" button on the editor appends a new step at the bottom. Remove steps with the X button on the right. The numbering auto-updates in the preview.
Where are drafts saved?
Drafts are stored only in your browser localStorage. They never leave your device. Use the Drafts tab to load, rename (via Save Draft again), or delete saved versions.
