SWOT Analysis
Build a 4-quadrant SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Add items, live matrix, export to Markdown or JSON. Print-friendly. Works offline.
About this tool
A focused SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis tool. Enter the subject, optional author, and one item per line in each of the four color-coded quadrants. The matrix updates live as you type, with item counts shown below each cell. Strengths and Opportunities are framed as positives; Weaknesses and Threats as negatives. Export the result as a Markdown table (or detailed per-quadrant list) or as structured JSON for downstream tools. The print stylesheet hides controls and renders the matrix cleanly on paper. Works fully offline โ your data stays in the browser.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is SWOT used for?
SWOT is a strategic planning framework. Strengths and Weaknesses are internal factors (things you control); Opportunities and Threats are external (market, competition, regulation). The four-quadrant view makes it easy to see where you can lean in (S+O) and where you need to defend (W+T).
How do I use the matrix?
Type one item per line inside each of the four colored cells. The matrix counts items per quadrant. When you print or export, you get a clean layout with the four quadrants plus an itemized list below.
Is it print-friendly?
Yes. The print stylesheet hides the controls, color-codes the quadrants with thicker borders, and fits the matrix on a single page. Tap Print / Save PDF in the editor.
Can I save my work?
Everything is saved automatically in your browser localStorage on every keystroke. Reloading the page restores your analysis. Export to Markdown or JSON if you want to back it up or share it.
