How is reading time calculated?
Reading time is based on an average speed of 210 words per minute (3.5 words per second), which is the typical reading speed for adults reading online content.
What counts as a word?
Any sequence of non-whitespace characters separated by spaces, tabs, or newlines. Punctuation attached to a word is included in the word count but excluded when calculating average word length.
How does keyword extraction work?
The tool scans all words, removes common stop words (like "the", "and", "is" in English, and "dan", "yang", "untuk" in Indonesian), filters out words shorter than 3 characters, and ranks the rest by frequency.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. All counting happens locally in your browser. Your text is saved to localStorage for convenience but never leaves your device.
